South Dakota Science and Technology Authority
The mission of the South Dakota Science and Technology Authority (SDSTA) is to reopen the Homestake gold mine and establish an interim underground science and engineering laboratory. This lab will be built in preparation for the development of a Deep Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory (DUSEL). The SDSTA is acquiring construction services and supplies through a system of competitive procurements that enable qualified contractors and suppliers to compete in an open environment. SDSTA contracting opportunities, including contract opportunities on the 4850 Level, will be posted here in the near future. Contracts also will be advertised on regional contractor bidder exchange bulletin boards.
