In this episode of Innovation, host Cara Hetland talks with physicist Dan Akerib, chairman of the Physics department at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Akerib and his students are helping to build the  world's largest Xenon dark matter detector for the Sanford Underground Lab at Homestake in Lead. Then John Brown from South Dakota's Small Business Administration tells Hetland why South Dakota was rated the friendliest place for entrepreneuriship. And finally, astronomist Ken Croswell talks with Hetland about his new book The Lives of Stars and good Christmas gifts for young star gazers.
